    ISITA2002 held at Xi'an International Conference Center, Xi'an, People's Republic of China on October 7-11, 2002.
    This symposium is organized by the Institute of Information Theory and Its Applications and Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Xi'an Jiaotong University.

    The objective of ISITA is to provide a forum for researchers and technologists to present new ideas and contributions related to information theory and its applications.
