    ISITA (International Symposium on Information Theory and its Applications), which is an international conference founded by SITA (Society of Information Theory and its Applications), is held every other year and this is 9th. The topics of ISITA includes, but are not limited to, coding theory, communication/information theory, mobile communication, cryptographic protocols, quantum information processing, and so on. In this ISITA, there were 217 submissions from all over the world, 177 of which are accepted for presentation (acceptance ratio: 177/217=0.816). Among accepted papers, 147 are from 7 countries in Asia (most of them are of Japan and Korea), and most of the rest from Europe and USA.
