The ICSS was held at Miyazaki University on November 13, 2009. There were 20 participants and 10 presentations in total. The topics mostly covered the applications and implementations of systems security (e.g. countermeasure of malware). It is expected that the conference will be more impressive in future with the help of active participation from both the industry and academia.
