Abstract: Usually, developers of security systems do not introduce novel
cryptographic technologies unless they are convinced that these
technologies are truly secure. However, in recent years, newly designed
cryptographic schemes are generally complicated, and thus their security
proofs are very difficult to understand. This is considered as one of
reasons for the fact that old (but easy-to-understand) technologies (e.g.
RSA) are still used, and new superior ones are not very often used. In
this talk, we discuss a new direction for designing cryptographic
schemes which even non-experts can be convinced with their security
level.
