There were many participants by joint holding DPS and CSEC. Equipment,IBM Research Laboratory, was ready and the hall was a very good place.Announcement papers were those with 39 affair, and there was an invitation public performance. The sessions were carried out by being parallel, the A hall and the B hall. Since DPS was about Multimedia Communication,it divided roughly into two of the proposals about the thing of Contents delivery technology or a protection-of-copyrights-related thing, and the proposal about a network protocol. The direction of CSEC was the announcement about the security at large which inclined toward the system.
