It was held at Nara Prefectural New Public Hall in Nara. There were more than 200 participants and 100 presentations at this symposium.As usual, there were many presentations about system. The relevant sessions about cryptography were Cryptographic Protocol(1)(2), Digital Signature, Symmetric Cipher, and Provable Security. Additionally, there were many sessions about treatment of personal information such as SocietyキLaw, Security Management(1)(2) and Personal Information Protection. While, there were no session about Biometrics despite recent popularity.
