This year's CSS was held at the Convention Center of Naha, Okinawa . This is the nation's largest symposium on system security. There were 324 participants and a record number of 164 papers. The sessions spanned from theoretical to the wide range of implementation issues. Multiple sessions included the security implementation and evaluation, biometric authentication, security management topics. In addition, candle session, which began last year, was quite attractive and interesting presentations were made which worth participating.
