The 4th IWSEC2009 was held at Toyama International Conference Center on 28-30th October, in Toyama, Japan. Acceptance rate of papers is 28.2% (13/46). In addition, 6 short papers were presented. There were 83 participants. The topics included were Cryptographic protocols, Block Cipher, Biometric authentication, and so on. SHA-3 candidates were also discussed during panel discussion. The 5th IWSEC2010 will be held on 22-24th November in Kobe, Japan.
