The 14th International Conference on Information Security and Cryptology, ICISC2011, was held on 30 Nov. to 2 Dec. in KOFST (Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies) in Seoul, Korea. There were 126 submissions and 32 papers were accepted. About 80 participants gathered for the conference. Many researchers at NTT attended the conference from Japan. The topics included were encryption scheme: Timed-Release Cryptography, Fully homomorphic encryption, Proxy Re-Encryption, and Group signature. Other topics included were cryptanalysis: Attack on hash function and Side channel attack. Participants were presented candle holders as souvenir. In the banquet, dinner was served with live music. The conference organized one trip to all the great sights in Seoul (Namsangol Korean Town, N Seoul Tower, Chenggyechon).
