Title: Trends in Information Security for Telecom Operators
Abstract: Recently, the Internet being widely penetrated, IT security is getting
more important for Telecom Operators. Especially, malicious activities
such as Spam Mail and Botnet are serious problems to be urgently
eliminated. Furthermore, IT security is expected to be a promising
technology for the future network services such as NGN, super 3G, mobile
WIMAX, P2P, ubiquitous, e-commerce, and so on. In this talk, general
security problems that we Telecom Operators have currently faced are
firstly discussed. After that, this talk focuses authentication and ID
management technology for future network services.
