Title: Methodologies for Constructing CCA-Secure PKE schemes
Abstract: Chosen ciphertext secure (CCA-secure) public key encryption is considered as one of most important building blocks for providing secure
and practical communication systems. In this talk, we review existing
methodologies for constructing CCA-secure schemes, and give an
observation which explains the essential idea for achieving CCA-security.
We also introduce the Hanaoka-Kurosawa public key encryption scheme
(Asiacrypt'08) which was designed based on this observation.
