Title: Addition Chains in Elliptic Curve Cryptosystems Abstract:
Elliptic curve cryptosystems (ECCs) are famous for high security with short
bit length.
Addition chains play an important role for accelarating a (multi-)scalar
multiplication which is one of dominant operations in ECCs.
In this talk, we review some topics concerning addition chains,
e.g. the shortest addition chain under certian conditions,
or useful for preventing side channel attacks.
