Title : Computer Security Abstract:
This seminar explains attack techniques on computer systems,
e.g., brute force attack, web defacement attack, malware infection, and
botnet mechanisms. Then, we study conventional countermeasures, e.g.,
firewall, anti-virus software, and intrusion detection system.
In addition, the seminar considers serious problems of the computer
systems and shows research activities of KDDI R&D laboratories.
Especially, we discuss new threats of a smart phone and further studies
of communication providers. ）
