The Technical Committee on Hardware Security (HWS) of the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE) was held at the Toyama Prefectural Civic Centre on April 17, 2026.
Latest research results related to hardware security were presented, including side-channel attacks, optimal implementation of ASICs, and anomaly detection in degraded components. Overall, it felt that many presentations were highly conscious of solving practical, real-world operational challenges.
