The 45th Workshop on Quantum Information and Communication (QIT45) was held on November 30 and December 1, 2021, in an online format using Zoom. There were more registrations than usual, indicating the recent high level of attention to quantum technology. Oral and poster presentations were given, and a wide range of presentations and active exchanges of opinions were made on quantum technology, including quantum state sensing technology, proposals for protocols using quantum and classical cryptography, and key relay technology.
